$%#@!$%^& {Pardon the Mess}

Moving from Blogger to WordPress is a pain in the $%#@!$%^&

I know that this half-naked muscular guy has nothing to do with this post but he’s doing his job in taking my mind off of the stress of my moving my website to a new home.   I can see why smarter people hire someone to transfer from blogger to word press but of course, I’m stubborn and well, cheap.

I do have to say that I burned up the help lines at my new hosting company and they were pretty gracious and helped make the transition a little smoother.  If you looking for a domain name or web hosting they have a great deal right now and I’ll include a banner in this post if you want to check them out.affiliate_link

Anyhow, there are still a couple of loose screws to wrangle on my end but all the current giveaways should be working fine.  If you entered the Tropical Traditions giveaway and  did a comment as an entry I do have them saved on my end but, of course, I can’t get them to post on my blog.

A glass of wine is calling my name!

    Good for you! I am not even ready to begin thinking about transferring, yet alone by myself… And please send that guy my way when you are done :) hehe

    I relaunched my blog on as a self-hosted WordPress about a month ago after taking a very looooooong break from blogging. I was very proud of myself for getting my Blogger content over, though I think that my Blogger one was pretty basic, so that helped. I had been debating between paying someone and just not transferring, since there was such a gap, but I decided to be brave.

    Now I won’t tell you how long it took me to get my advertising on my blog… I was soooo tired of it by the time it was said and done with!

      Man, I’m so glad that I don’t have to do that again. Pats on the back for both of us!! I’m still working on layout and stuff but it’s getting a little closer. Thanks for signing up for the cash giveaway!

        Yeah, I’m still tweaking a lot of things on mine, as I get used to the WP format and options. It doesn’t help that any time I sit down to work on it, I seem to forget the things i wanted to change/add. I’ve tried jotting them down on paper when I think of them, only thing that has accomplished is random scraps of paper floating around everywhere that make absolutely no sense to me when I go back to them!

        Thanks for hosting the giveaway, I’m trying to do some networking and such to build up my following now that I’ve started back with blogging, I liked your blog, so demographically I thought it might bring some of the right exposure :)
