This week has flown by and I have been swamped so I’m breaking my promise of showing you my goal pants so you can see how I’m doing with the intermittent fasting. I pinky swear that I’ll show you the good, the bad and the ugly next week when it will offically be 4 weeks since I started to do a 24 hour fast once a week.
Diet wise this week I have CHEATED. Yeah, I didn’t make it the full 24 hour fast this week – only 21. It was harder this week because I didn’t get out of the house and had to cook lunch for the Little. Normally, I’m wandering around and I give him his favorite on-the-go baby food - Earth’s Best Butternut Squash Pear Puree and french fries – yeah I know. I also found myself back at the grocery store deli and ate a bunch of jo jos and mozzeralla sticks. Sigh.
Workout wise, I’ve done awesome and hiked, walked and mountain biked most of the days. Biking with baby is definitely an adventure. We finally ended up getting a Burley Encore for mountain biking. We really struggled with this as we wanted to get a bike trailer with suspension and a two seater in case we do have a second child in the future. What finally made the decision was the weight of the trailer. The Encore weights 24lbs so adding the weight of the Little, Mr. Bejelly will be pulling 44lbs when mountain biking.
I wanted to share some photos of us biking with baby and a short video of Mr. Bejelly pulling the Little around like a champion. Later next week I’m going to do a review on the Burley sharing how it’s working out for us on the trail.
